September 11 and 12, 2009 will be the second year for the Grand Rivers Southern Storytelling Event. The Grand Rivers Tourism Commission thrilled to be underwriting this family friendly event and it is our goal to grow this event into a two day celebration of Southern Storytelling, and folklife heritage.

The contributions of our sponsors help with fees and accommodations for the national  tellers, event promotions,  and collection and preservation of our local stories. Ticket sales will contribute much of the funds needed but will not cover all of the costs involved with this event.
