Grand Rivers Civil War Living History Event 
Presented by King's Battery and Grand Rivers Tourism, join us for a step back in time and view life between the rivers in Civil War time.   Historically accurate portrayals of life during Civil War time will include confederate and union army encampments, military drills, care and use of weapons, canon firings,  Ladies tea, and Civil War Ball.  FREE EVENT.

Saturday, November 5, 2011
10:30 a.m. - Parade on JH O'Bryan from Patti’s to the Park                            
11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Camp Open to Public          
The day will be filled with infantry drills, cannon firings, cooking demonstrations, presentations on ammunition, camp life,, an afternoon skirmish and more.  Special Events are also open to the public and include:
7:00 to 10 p.m. –  Ball featuring live period music. 

Sunday, November 6, 2011
11:00 a.m. Campfire Church Service
10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. – Camp Open to the Public
The day will be filled with infantry drills, cannon firings, cooking demonstrations, presentations on ammunition, camp life, afternoon skirmish and more.
